Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke

If you or a loved one have suffered from either of these conditions, you know the disruption in life these cause.  Many times you will have the eyes examined for visual problems only to have the doctor say there is nothing wrong with your eyes.  Unless you have been examined for a visual midline shift, you have not had a comprehensive evaluation of your vision after these events.  A visual midline shift can cause many problems, including trouble with reading, eyes tiring easily, objects appearing to move, severe sensitivity to light, leaning to the left or right (including in a wheel chair), trouble reaching for and grasping objects, difficulty with driving, bumping into walls, difficulty in crowded or moving environments, apparent tilting of the floor/ground, and many more.  We specialize in the evaluation and remediation of these problems, and often can make a profound difference in your quality of life.
